The East Limestone community is located on the east side of Limestone County in between the CIty of Madison and the City of Athens.   The community is close to the new Toyota / Mazda plant, Polaris plant,  Research Park and Redstone Arsenal.

The East Limestone is the fastest growing part of Limestone County.   The schools are Creekside Elementary and Primary and East Limestone Middle and High Schools.  

The East Limestone community offers competitive pricing on homes for sale in the North Alabama Area with homes being less expensive than the adjacent community of Madison City and Athens City as well.    The community has very low Limestone County taxes.

In the mid 2000's Limestone Water and Sewer agreed to bring sewer to a few areas in East Limestone.   With sewer being available south of Highway 72 and in the Jones Road area it has created a cluster of development that offers a very convenient location combined with great services.
